Germain Beeckman was born in Zottegem on 9 July 1949 and he works and lives in Oosterzele. Several participations in group exhibitions of OK ‘95 in Oosterzele March 2000: individual exhibition at “Galerij Kunstforum” in Schelderode November 2000: participation group exhibition “Kunst voor Kunst Kiwanis” Oude Abdij in Drongen April 2001: part jubilee exhibition “Tele-Onthaal” Het Pand in Gent August 2001: silver medal at a national competition for sculpture – August Vermeylenfonds in Oostende October 2002: participation in group exhibition in Spiere-Helkijn April 2003: design and realisation of the bronze sculpture “Tous Copères” in Dinant June 2005: design and realisation of the bronze sculpture “Een waanzinnige gedachte” in Destelbergen December 2007: participation at artfare Lineart Ghent, in co-operation with Beukenhof-Phoenix Galleries
